We often suggest Fiberon decking for it’s authentic wood appearance and durability. The designers at Fiberon created boards that change color tones along their length just like real wood. This adds a new dimension of realism and a natural feel to the product. The polymer capstock layer on Fiberon products is very hard and scratch resistant. It also is highly resistant to staining as are all co-extruded composites. For this customer we designed an irregular shape that maximized the area for entertaining on the side of the house with the best view. The narrower section does not overshadow the hot tub below. The deck is also carefully built around the existing trees so the deck is right in the canopy giving it a very natural and arboreal feel. The colors used on the deck were Tudor Brown and Rosewood. Both are from the Horizon line, Fiberon’s top of the line composite.
